According to a report by Nigerian Tribune on Saturday, November 8, 2025, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has raised fresh concerns over what he described as the presence of American soldiers in Nigeria.
The cleric made this claim while warning the federal government to act urgently to prevent what he called a looming national crisis._According to him, the alleged US military presence could lead to deeper foreign involvement in Nigeria’s internal affairs if not properly handled.
Ayodele urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration to pay serious attention to the situation.
He said the government must take urgent and strategic steps to protect the nation’s sovereignty and prevent any possible escalation.
The prophet stated that the government must not ignore what is happening but rather “do something different quickly” to avoid future regrets.
He warned that delay or denial might worsen the situation and expose the country to greater risks.
Primate Ayodele advised the government to seek divine direction in handling the issue.
He noted that the challenge facing the administration goes beyond politics and requires spiritual intervention.
According to him, only divine wisdom can help President Tinubu’s government overcome the growing tension both within and outside the country.
He stated that relying solely on political or technological solutions would not be enough to resolve the crisis.
“America is already in Nigeria; this government should do something different quickly. Tinubu administration must urgently seek divine intervention if it hopes to overcome the looming crisis.,” he warned
